Weather at our corner of the world is never boring. Saturday we woke to the most perfect cabin day. I was out on the terrace every hour of the day, photographing the light in all shades. Starting with the sun peeking out from the hills to the east of the cabin. Morning coffee always taste the best when you sit out with our magnificent view, last roses filling a vase and a small white bowl.
There are no trees with red autumn leaves around our cabin, but you find yellow in more shades than any human palette can create.
In the afternoon we decided it was time to go fishing, and it was like switching off the light. The sun ran away, clouds performed, rain fell down not like cats and dogs, more like elephants and whales, and the wind blew life into a full symphonic orchestra. A few more photos and then it was time for indoor boardgames and reading.
I wish a photo could show you the motions in the trees, the sound of the wind, the smell of a wet autumn forest.
I am filling up my senses for a long and dark winter.
