I will be spending three weeks here in Mysore, this must be among the longest time I have spent in one place during a holiday. This means that I have alot of time ahead of me, and no need to rush. I can slowly breath it all in, people, colours, fragrances. And in between I spend long periods of time on the poach, talking with Carolyn or Hossy, writing, reading or just breathing and enjoying a beautiful garden. Where I sit on the porch I am tickled under the feet by a wonderful blue Morning Glory.
Sunday night the young driver and his beautiful wife (who is the cook in the house) took me to see Maharaja's Palace. Every Sunday night thousands and thousands of light bulbs are lit to enlighten this fairy tale place for one hour. One of my guidebooks says 5000 lightbulbs, another says 94000.
In my somedayupcoming book it will be said thousands and thousands.
The first travel tale is finished (translated from Norwegian) Let me have your email address if you want to read it, and I'll send it to you.
