We are enjoying an Indian Summer with temperatures almost like a Nordic midsummer. I enjoy my roses and sparkling blue cornflowers, and at the same time my desk and my studio are slowly feeling more and more like Christmas, like Mrs. Santa's workshop, in red and green, the smell of ginger, the taste of Christmas cookies, logs burning in the hearth as soon as the night gets chilly enough.
Marta and I have written a book about advent, but we never agreed with the publisher about the focus we wanted the book to have. In the end I sent the manuscript elswhere, and now we have an agreement. The advent book will alter into an advent blog for children, as education of faith for the Church of Norway. Starting December 1st, may be earlier, we will blog our stories, our photos, our ideas, our Christmas spirit, on a daily basic - in Norwegian, though the photos will have the world wide language so well known by world wide bloggers.
I have payed Marta in advance for the creative work, and writing, she is doing, and yesterday afternon she collected her saving from a long time and the pay I gave her, and took her father to the computer store. My writing daughter is now the proud owner of her own laptop!

Note: a few days ago I found a new to me blog, A brush with color. It took me five seconds to get completely hooked, and three days to make A brush with color Blog of the week. Enjoy!
