....Summer time means alot of travelling to see friends and family. Saturday we attended my goddaughter's wedding (yes, photos will come), which mean 14 hours in the car on Friday. Me and Terje in the front seats, Marta spreading her things out in the back seat.
Audio books have become good friends when we have our long drive. It was not always easy when we had four kids, the oldest one 14 years older than the youngest, but nowadays, with only a 12 year old, there is a wide range of books we all want to listen to. Friday Jostein Gaarder accompanied us, and Marta was soon transformed to another worlds, following 12 years old Hans Thomas and his father to Athens solving The Solitaire Mystery.
Food along the road has its own chapter in our lives. I seldom like the restaurants along the road, so whenever possible I pack our own food. Some days easy and plain, other days we are in for a more "lovefood meal". The Italians have taught me alot about picnic food, and I practice the knowledge as often as possible.

Tomorrow morning I am heading for Mexico and the XVII International AIDS Conference. I will be away from the computer most of the time, but I have prepared posts for The House in the Woods, so you should be able to find updates here (almost) every day. May be I will even manage a Chatting Time from Mexico City.
