Breakfast is finished. I refilled my teacup, added a thick slice of fresh lemon and brought it here to my studio. A couple of squirrels are playing outside the window, the radio is playing classical music, a stack of garden books are tempting me.........
.........but I need today for writing. Will send my changed script to the publisher this afternoon.
Many of you have asked about this book, so here it comes: This is a children's books for advent, with two pages for every day from December 1st till December 24th. A short story, a reflection, facts about traditions, legends, quotations from the Bible, ideas for activities, hymns and further reading. Marta is writing the short stories with me. The "discussions" with the publisher is about what focus to give on the pages. They want the short stories to be the main focus, and in doing so I am afraid the reflections will lose. I might agree that kids can find reflections too boring, but some times we must teach them to read other than the most exciting stuff.........So I'll send my changes and wait and see. If they don't want to publish the book I still have the manuscript and can do what I want with it :-). Like my first book this one is also in Norwegian only.
Filling my rosy teacup this morning reminded me of The Caring Blogger's Rose Day. I will host this event again this year, just as I did last year. So start planning a rose party for May 10th. A series of rose cards from my garden/cabin will be sent to one of the participants.
Here is a list from those taking part last year. I will be happy if you help me to share this in the blog world.
