A good friend, Sølvi-Ann celebrates her 50th birthday. She gives thanks to the years she has been given, to family and friends who are walking with her. We are invited to celebrate, and she takes us on a walk along the pilgrim road of her life. With us walks Maria the mother of Christ, and St Francis, our holy brother from Assissi. Along the road we are met by words, music and art.
Sølvi-Ann has written a Maria-hymn for my lent book, and an artist friend of hers has illustrated the five verses with five paintings. It will all be shown in my upcoming book about Lent. Untill now I have anly seen small photos of the paintings, but here they are "in real" together with Sølvi-Ann's hymn.
The road Sølvi-Ann takes me along, during her party and during our friendship, is a blessing. Friends are flowers in the garden of God. Sølvi-Ann is a rainbow flower blooming at the most unexpected times of the year in the most extraordinary colours.
