Sunday morning and 7 hours on "The Arctic Express", the train from Trondheim up to Bodø. I left the train at Mo i Rana, the town right south of the arctic circle.
This time I travelled alone, and the weather was perfect for photos.
The arctic winter days are so short. I started my ride in darkness and followed a misty morning turn into a bright, shining day. Then I had some few bright hours before the darkness again started to fall over northern Norway.
I ate my packed lunch, but couldn't resist visiting the café cabin for a cup of coffee and two small pieces of chocolate.
Back in my seat there was more nature to enjoy.
