A day in Rome is a day of walking, and walking and walking. You can of course take the metro or a bus, but it is when you walk you manage to see every nook and corner.
Our walking took us "everywhere" and among our favorite places were the hights around Rome. From The Palatin Marta shoot her photos.
Another day Terje and the girls ran up the steps to the Janiculum Heights, following the steps of my mother. She ran up these steps two summers ago when I guided her and my father in Rome a few days. It was a hot day and my mother was 75 at that time. I had no chance to follow her speed.
From the top you have a spectacular view of Rome's rooftops.
If your feet get too sore you can of course always dream of a small car.....
OK, you asked for "different" photos from Rome, and of course, the most common touristic sights can always be seen anywhere......
Booktalk on a Sunday will be back in a week.
