Young and newly married Terje and I spent our honeymoon in England. During our weeks there I found a quiltbook, and a new world opened for me (besides being married I mean;-).......). Coming home I started to make quilts, and since then my needles have been kept warm.
Being a quilter I see life not only in colours, but also in patterns. Visiting the churches in Venice, sitting down on a cold wooden churchbench, drawing the mosaic patterns is something I can do for hours. But quilt patterns can be found at unexpected places.
I hadn't expected to find quilt inspiration at the fish market in Venice, but coming home and looking through my photos......well, you can look for yourself. Here are a few of my fish photos.
