Waffles are a favorite in the Blue Café. A favorite treat for the afternoon coffee in my childhood, a favorite treat in my family today.
All our kids have learned to make "vafler", and Sunday it was Marta who was the chef in the Blue Café while Terje and I were busy planting the very last bulbs of the season in our snowy garden.
If you ever come to The Blue Café and our House in the Woods there will probably be some fresh vafler with home made marmelade on the table for you as well. But wait till after this week-end - today we are heading for our cabin for a last visit this year.
