A typical cabin night activity is playing games. Alot of different card games, Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly and other board games I only know the Norwegian name of. Saturday night "Settlers" was the game on the table.
We were five, and as the game is for four players I volunteered to be in charge of the food - wafles and icecream.
Without electricity the waffles have to be made the old fashioned way, using the old waffle iron from my grandmother. I love standing in the kitchen making the waffles, often with a book in my hand while waiting for them to be finished. Or sneaking out in the terrace taking photos in through the window :-)
