I have written about friendship and food several times. Just as important as eating together is preparing the food together, and Saturday night, before we went out midnight fishing, we were invited to our friends at their cabin to make bacalao together. Bacalao is a fish casserole based on dried Norwegian codfish, potatos, onion, tomatoes and olive oil. It is said that the Portugeeses developed the recipe, but it is also an old traditional dish in the coastal town Kristiansund.
Friends, food, flowers, not too many moskitos, view, serenity, talk and laughter.....that's my paradise.
