Bread baking night

Not much time for reading in The House in the Woods tonight. As all other Norwegians we have been glued to the television screen, following our coming prime minister Erna Solberg on her way to create a government. I can never sit in front of the television for very long doing nothing, so I decided it was a perfect night to bake bread.

Now Erna is finished, the television is turned off, 6 big breads are in the oven, the most perfect smell is filling the house and I am reading a Danish book my sister in law gave me a few years ago:
Fremtidens brød af fortidens korn/Futures bread using ancient grain

 

I love to bake breads, all kinds of them. And I love to learn more about this art from the dawn of time.

 

 

And yes, I use spelt in my breads.

 

And soon it is time for a piece of hot bread with melting butter dripping down on your fingers, and brown goat cheese.
