Have you ever been into a book store, and leaving again without buying anything? I have. But believe me, it happens rarely. As I visit bookstores at least once a week, this means that I do have a lot of book. I have never managed to count, but I would guess there are several thousands.
I love my books. I love to walk along the shelves letting my hands feel their backs, I love taking one out only to flip through it, I love sitting down to read one only to get an idea which leads my back to the shelves to take out another book.
I do seem to have one problem with my book collection though.
Some books seem to play hide and seek with me.
I like to believe that I have a system. I like to believe that you can ask for one of my books and I will go directly to where it is and get it.
Only, this is not true,
at least not all the time.
I have been planning the next book post here, I started a book last night, I want to write about it, but to do so I want to share a couple of other books from my collection as well.
But.....
.......it seems like they are playing their favorite game.
HIDE & SEEK
Well, in the end I know I will find them,
and meanwhile I am taking you to booklover´s heaven
Shakespeare and Company in Paris.
Have you been there?
