The new herb bed

Two years ago our backyard was transformed into a lake. This spring it happened again. Problems with the municipality´s water pipe. Both times it destroyed Terje´s potato field and my herb garden. Since the water pipes are not our property, a company payed by the municipality came and settled the area, but enough is enough. I have lost too many old herbs collected over years and years this way. I wanted to move my herb garden.

Terje need not be asked twice, and last week he built me a herb bed, on a more sunny side of the property than the old one.

  

I planted out the first herbs last night, in the late summer sun.
This morning nature is helping me with the watering.
