If you read my main blog (Britt-Arnhild´s House in the Woods) last spring, you know that my husband had a very hard time putting the greenhouse together. He put so much work into it, when it came to making a floor, he said: STOP! WAIT! There will be another year for that!
Another year has come, and one night I found my husband sitting down, writing up a list for what he needed to buy for the stone floor.
"Why buy any stones at all", I asked, "why can´t you use some of the old ones on the west side of the house." We have for a long time talked about removing them, sowing grass there.
My husband is even more keen at using what we already have then buying new stuff than I am, so the next day he was out there, digging.
Now, a few days later,
my greenhouse has a flag stone floor......
....perfectly flat, as a pancake :-)
There is even a small flag stone floor outside the greenhouse.
For enjoying the late afternoon sun.
