Doves visiting

For a couple of weeks now two doves have been visiting The Blue Garden. Their caracteristic noise wake us in the morning, from our kitchen- or bedroom window we can follow their goings. Always two together.

This is where I have my prayer garden. Two doves are good prayer companions.

I had my week-end morning walk in town yesterday. Sunny, quiet, and after a while I felt a deep need for a cappuccino. Some days I wonder if I am the only morning bird here in Trondheim. As I walked around I found no open cafés, no place to get coffee.

If you have already followed my morning walk at Trondheim Through all Seasons you will know that I was lucky in the end. I met a friend, it was her birthday, together we found and open café and I could buy her a cappuccino as a birthday gift.

And luck followed me. When I came home a little later Terje was busy in the garden, oiling and painting the garden furniture.

I made coffee and "vafler", Marta woke up (she is a late week-end sleeper), Ingrid and Marius came and soon we all had coffee out in The Blue Garden.

I am sitting here with my garden diary, looking through the entries from the past years, wondering about the future; what will the garden be like this summer, who will be our garden visitors?

   I am ready to welcome you. Just let me know and I'll start the coffee.
