Part of my fascination for Italy and everything Italian is the food. Pizza, pasta, dolce, focaccia, cappucino, gelato....... you name it. I have Italian cookbooks to fill a whole kitchen, but there is never anything like a recipe directly from an Italian. And especially when the Italian is charming Mauro.
It was my last morning in Venice, and Mauro met me at the vaporetto stop for one last cappuccino before I left. There he presented me with a beautiful tinbox of Venezian biscuits and a recipe on how to make two types of Crema di Mascarpone, the recipe written into my diary.
Of course I had to try the crema as soon as I came home. Delicious!
Mix 2 eggs and sugar with an electric mixer. Add 250gr mascarpone cheese, mix by hand slowly. Divide in 2 part, in one put some cocoa (without sugar), in the other a small glass of crema marsala liqeur
Dip the bisquits in the crema and ENJOY! We did. And lucky for us, there was enough crema to last for two days....
Mmmmmm, delicious!

How much sugar, Britt? I can probably decide for myself, though! Let's see....1/4 cup or more?

I am not sure about the amount of sugar Caterina, used what you feel for :-)
