The photos of the yarn prompted me to google-translate this post.
I totally agree with you regarding Maria Kondo…last year I borrowed her book from the library and promptly returned it. It is not my way. Yes, i do need to organize more and throw some things away…..I cannot throw anyway memories.
But, what I got from this blog post (via translation)is that Lent does not mean we always have to give something up. I would prefer to add or do something daily….something for my neighbor, my community, the world. And in my own closets, in my own house, re-purpose things for a better, newer use.
I don't know if this is what you meant, but it is what I got out of it.
I needed that.
