Thank you so much for all the wishes and greetings yesterday, comments, emails, texts and phones were flowers which by the end of the day made an armful bouquet.

We had our anniversary dinner at Walaker hotel near Sognefjorder, a wonderful place which I hope to blog more from tonight or tomorrow.

As we travel down along the western coast of Norway, I have been buying several postcards. Now I am wondering if you want to do an exchange. A postcard exchange.

Postcards from Dubrovnik

I walked around in Dubrovnik saying to myself: how I wish that I could send a postcard to all my blog readers! Then I realised, that's excatly what I am doing. Through the blog!

I do have some extra postcards though, to be sent by mail.

Postcards

First came a postcard from Marit who loives on the western coast of Norway, then two postcards arrived from Belgium, from Nicole.

Today the postman brought me a card from Zürich, thanks Susan May. 

A shelf in the kitchen is filling up. It is still only a few days since I asked about postcards from around the world. I knew that you, my readers, are the greatest. This is so fun. 

 
Photos: Italy last summer. I've no idea why I picked them out. They are not the best I have but they all bring good memories.

More travels and colours and postcards and..........what about a postcard from you to me?????

Sometimes colours come as lovely surprises. We visit Stavanger every year, at least once, and we love to walk around in the city center. I was sure I had seen it all.......that is untill last week.

We were waiting for the boat to take us out to Flor&Fjære, and all of a suden found ourselves in a small street where we've never been.

 
Small wooden houses coloured in the brightest, funniest colours. Almost like Burano, still completely different.

This charming bookcafe wasn't open yet in the morning when we walked by. It didn't matter much.......I will be back some day.

Marilee, thank you for the idea you gave my on facebook yesterday - why don't I ask you, my readers for postcards...........

So now I do - I love postcards, have collected them all my life and would love, love, love a postcard from you, from your place or from somewhere you go, somewhere you love. I also love art cards ;-) Please write directly on the back of the card, which makes it more worth collecting for me, add my address and a stamp and wave it goodbye on its travel to:
