Why crowd in the hot streets of central Paris when there are so many lovely parks and outdoor areas. Terje and I had sent the youngsters into town shopping while we planned to spend the morning in Bois the Boulogne, a park on the western side of Paris, its size about two and a half the area of Central Park in New York.
"Oh look! A lake. Will you take me rowing?" A looked at Terje. He looked out over the lake, up at the burning sky, into my eyes, and smiled: "Sure!"
Not much later we were out on the lake.
Somewhere in the middle of Paris.......almost,
still just the two of us completely alone.
Well, almost alone.
This is my forth visit to Paris.
Every time I come I find something now, something I had no idea about.
Of course I do. Paris is huge.
I can continue to come back, again, and again, and again, and again....... and Paris will continue to surprise me, to seduce me.
Hopefully I can keep on bringing my own oarsman.
