The golden days of this autumn are now history. The neverending yellow sun was defeated by grey skies and a lot of rain, at least for a couple of days. But today, when we woke up, it had stopped raining, it felt mild and fresh, it smelt of the coming winter and the forest called our names.
Lucky us, we could do our Sunday hike with a pram, and the most beautiful almost 11 months old baby in the world. He was supposed to have his afternoon nap, but how could he, with so much to see.
The beavers know that winter is just around the corner, and are super busy building on their lodges now.
We did not see any beavers, they are shy and live their life when we are asleep I guess, but their tracks could not be missed.
