Last week Terje bought a Weber gas grill, and tonight was the perfect time to consecrate it. A party for the two of us, and at the same time a world wide party, with guests from USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Israel, Scotland, Portugal, Germany. I am reading through the comments on yesterday´s post again and again and I can´t believe what I am reading.
THANK YOU for your lovely comments.
Now I am thinking about putting up a map of the world in my office, and pin your cities.
But back to the bbq-party.
I made two vegetable packets of beetroot, squash, carrots, olive oil, salt, pepper and a lot of herbs from the garden. Then I marinated the chichen, again olive oil, salt and pepper and again garden herbs.
The weather has been exeptional lovely for a long time, but just as Terje started the grill the sky got black .....
....and soon afterwards a thunder storm came in.
But no problem. The veranda is partly roofed so we moved both the table and the grill.
Soon the chef was busy.
And as we sat down to eat, I told Terje about all of you.
It is still raining, and I smiling together with my thirsty garden.
