For three days 250 church workers from all over Norway have been gathered in Trondheim. One afternoon we took the boat out to Munkholmen, the tiny little island in the Trondheim´s Fjord. Back in the city we were gathered in groups and taken on different pilgrim walks up to the cathedral.
I followed one of the groups, and though we walked paths which I know as my own jeans pocket, suddenly it looked new, like I was doing a sightseeing tour in a place where I have never been before.
My Nikon followed me around, and together we captured the moments.
Together we looked for shots to share with you.
It never cease to amaze me, this ability Trondheim has to show me her secret. Her hidden gems. Her beauty.
During this walk the old became new to me, and it taught me an important lesson.........there is always something new to see, to learn, to experience.
The art is to do it slowly, with time to reflect, to digest.
By the way......I never wear jeans ;-)
