In a rainbow of feelings, which colour is longing?
I like to think of it as orange. Orange is a happy, playful colour. Happy, playful like a lot of longing in my life
The colour of longing might be green. Like the first sprouts of a daffodill. Red like a sunset, blue like the sky. Pink like a baby butt, mauve like a secret feeling, light blue like the irises of a dear friend.
Blue like the blues.
A lot of longing in blue.
Right now the colour of longing is tanned ancles, silver shoes, a pattern of sun and shadows.
I am longing for summer.
I like longing.
It´s like being showered by the rainbow.
