Colour your food.
Autumn is the perfect time of the year to colour the food. My garden is filled with colours right now, late roses, sweet peas, calendulas, sunflowers, blue borago and alot more. Many of the flowers blooming right now can be used in the food, to be eaten, or to decorate. A white rose is beautiful in a white califlower soup. Sweet peas are beautiful everywhere.
A califlower soup is easy to make, staring with melted butter and flour, adding milk or water, salt, a little white pepper, and some creme fraice. But be careful with the cream, it might be too heavy to digestive.

You are lucky to still have seet peas in the garden.

I am amazed that you have so much colour in your garden right not Britt, especially so far north. Particularly those gorgious sweet peas.

I am also surprised that "so far north" you still have warm temperatures and flowers in the garden! Thanks to blogging, I know better now!
The food with the flowers looks very aesthetic!

How lovely that you still have sweet peas in your garden. Do you have them in all colours, or only this bright pink?

Food and flowers . . . two of my favorite things. A celebration in every bite. I think the flowers add a little extra joyful seasoning, eaten or not. I picked a fragrant bouquet of roses today -- our brunch was seasoned with extra sweetness as we talked and lingered at the table. A blessing, to be sure. : )
