To everything there is a season
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted:
A time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gathered stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace;
Ecclesiastes 3,1-8

I started so fresh and determined this morning to visit all my favorite blogs, there has been little time for that lately. I am driving up to Røros for a two days meting later today. But now the winter outside is calling my name:
START DRIVING NOW AND BRING YOUR CAMERA! Think of all the wonderful, wintery photos and stories you will be able to tell when you come home.......

A time for beautiful, white silence and reflexion. Wish I was there!

What gorgeous photos! Is that the sea behind the last picture? Do you have to use tire chains when you drive in winter in Norway? That Bible passage is one of my favorites and to set it off with those delicious pictures is like the frosting on the cake. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

When I see your pictures, I realize how exotic Norway really are. The landscape and architecture - it's unique. Not to mention the old mine town Röros. No wonder why that's on the World Heritage List.
ps. me too, have been a "bad" commenter for several weeks. Sorry for that.

Absolutely one of my favorite verses. It gets us through the difficult times and humbles us in the times of luxury.
Thanks!

How amazing it was for me to read the words of your post today. For some reason the words of that verse has been running through my mind for the past several days. It is one of my favorite verses, but to open your blog and find those very words looking back at me...... Well I just found it quite a blessing.
Your photos are wonderful as usual.
Have a wonderful day.
