"Look at these breathtaking, lovely hills, all yellow with dandelions. With the snowy mountains in the background and the blue sky. Can we stop here for a while? I need time to take in all this beauty." We were on the way to our cabin, passing gorgeous nature around every corner.
"Mom", Marta looked at me with teasing eyes. "Here you say that dandelions are beautiful. In the garden you don't want them!"
During the rest of our drive I reflected on dandelions. Why don't I like them in my garden? The past years I have spent hour after hour weeding dandelions, with the result that I cut their roots in half and next year two come up where there was only one. This summer I have been too busy to weed them at all, and I have complained; "What shall I do with the dandelion invation?" Using poison to get rid of them is absolutely NO solution in The Blue Garden.
Before we arrived at the cabin I had made up my mind. Dandelions are beautiful. Also in The Blue Garden.
