I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck. (Emma Goldman)

Denise.......it was your name Marta drew yesterday. You are the winner of the Caring Bloggers Rose Card collection. Please send my your address, and the cards will be on their way.
Both Marta and I agreed that one winner would be too little after all the great reponse you have given to this idea. The responses are a real proof that the blogger world is a caring world. Shabby in the City made the charming Caring Bloggers Rose Day banner, so a collection of the cards will be yours as well (address please). And three more will get a little rose surprise in the mail. The first is my mother Marta who is my most supportive reader and who posted a comment for the first and till now only time on April 30. The second is Barbara and the third is Karla.(Barbara and Karla, will you please e-mail me your addresses)
I would have loved to draw all of you.......
I am home with a sore throat and a tabletbox full of penicillin this week, that's why I couldn't visit the planned rose nursery. But we have a garden center not far from where we live, and nothing could keep me from a short visit there. Covered in a thick jacket and a wool scarf, I put on my stubborn blogger mood and went there to buy new roses for our garden. These will be my blog roses and will remind me of all the nice people I have met and are still to meet. I would love to send roses to all of you!
