At the cabin I have a collection of old potholders. The pair to the right is inherited from my grandmother, I love the flower design. The pair in the middle was made by a late aunt of my mother, and the pair to the left was given me a few years ago when I was on a visitation with the bishop. We visited a nursing home, and an old lady had made one pair for me and one for the bishop.
Memory-collections like this one are very dear to me, and I will never have a home, nor a cabin without them. They are not for decorations only, I use them all the time when I cook in my small cabin kitchen. And even from this small and primitive kitchem the most delicious meals cane be made, like Corey's wonderful tomato soup.
My collection of potholders are growing. If you have a pattern for a knitted or crocheted pair I will be delighted.
