The autumn mornings are sunny but cold, cold, cold. No frost yet, but I can see a thin white layer of dew on the grass when I look out my bedroom window in the early morning.
After breakfast I walk out in the garden to gather fresh herbs to marinate some meat for tonight's dinner. The herb garden grows almost wild now and I love the smell my fingers get after picking different types.
Later today, when we come home from church, I am sure the temperatures will be warm enough for coffee in the blue garden.
I've scrolled back through the summer posts to enjoy the transformation over the summer, developing color and rich blossoms. Now it seems the garden is indeed very blue and will soon be quiet for winter.
