The days are short. Dark when I leave for work, dark when I come home again. I don't see much of the Blue Garden these days. A short walk in the early mornings to fill the bird feeders, that's about all.
But then the week-end comes, and we reconnect again, the Blue Garden and I. Too cold to stay long out there, but nice to walk with my camera. As I walk, as I look, I make plans. Today I realised that there are no roses with hips anywhere. And it should be, especially for winter photos, for Easter branches......
I get my garden notebook and write a short note; remember to plant another rose, this time one which will give hips.
I love seeing your seasons, but I can certainly understand why you don't stay out there very long. Just seeing your pictures makes me shiver.
We have seasons where I live, but they're not as distinct. Our front tree still has some colorful leaves that the recent winds spared.
